Evan F. Christopherson has received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking with a concentration in Book Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and his Associate of Applied Arts degree in Computer Graphics with a concentration in Multimedia from Lansing Community College (LCC). He has interned in professional studios, including Globe Press and Collection and Baltimore Print Studios in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Teaching Intern in several MICA undergraduate courses, he focused his long term professional career in developing his skills as an instructor. His work has been exhibited in the U.S. and abroad including Scene Metrospace in East Lansing, Gallery CA in Baltimore, and Gallery Twenty Two in Bristol, England and can be found in collections including The Ontario College of Art and Design University, Toronto, ON, Canada, the Borowsky Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Centre for Fine Print Research, West England, and the MICA Printmaking Department’s Dolphin Press & Print Collection. Christopherson is currently researching new ways of recording and visualizing elements of weather and involving that research in his current art making practice.
